Info about a Photoshoot
with me....
Well,
if you are checking this out, you are either thinking about getting some photos
done by me, or thinking about modeling.
First thing I suggest.... CHECK REFERENCES!
I
can not stress that enough. For your safety, and also to save some time and
money, you should always check out every photographer, agency or
promotional company looking to work with you.
I
insist that you check my references. Check with anyone on here that I have
worked with. (Check with them all for that matter) They were in your shoes at
one time, checking with someone else, so they will be happy to answer any
questions you have.
Have
any questions for me? I will be more than happy to answer them. Don't ever
worry about asking too many questions. Don't ever think it is a stupid question
either. "The only stupid question, is the one you do not ask"
I work
with women who have never been to a professional shoot and
professional models.
I
am often a "first shoot" for a lot of people. I am very patient, and
know exactly what you are feeling. Nervous, a little shy, and also very
curious. I spend a lot of time talking. Ok... I talk a LOT at a first shoot. I
go over poses, what to expect, what you should be looking for, and where you
might want to go as far as direction with modeling.
Do
I charge? Yes I do. I am reasonably priced. (Oh sure....that's what they all
say) ASK MY REFERENCES! Ask them if they felt it was worth it. I am not going
to tell you I am the cheapest. I am sure there are a lot of guys out there
willing to pull a camera out of their pocket and shoot you for free. (I saw
that happen once!) But, ask my references if they felt they got their moneys
worth out of me.
Seriously!
ASK!
I
do not just take your picture. I go over what to expect, what to bring and how
things are going to go. I work with you through poses. I will shoot a variety
of looks and we will go over the images at the end of each look. Between
shooting with me, talking with me, and the time I have on edits, I'll be
investing a lot of time on our shoot.
If
things work out, I'll even set you up with promotional work, and refer you to
other reputable photographers I work with. I'll be honest with you about my
impression, and what I suggest for a next step.
First
shoots are always fun. After spending the time going over everything, everyone
is usually very relaxed and has a great time. So many come back for more, I
assume they had a good experience....
Check
my references!
Look
over my work. Let me know your favs and what you want to try.
Worst
case? You get some great pics....
TAKE
CARE!
Robert
